For behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. (Sacharia 3, Vers 8)

Das ist ein anderer Prophet, Sacharia. Auch er lebte im jüdischen Land viele Jahrhunderte vor der Geburt von Jesus. Auch er schreibt, daß jemand kommen wird. Er wird Gottes Knecht sein und doch auch sein Sproß. Ein Sproß in einer Familie ist jedoch ein Kind dieser Familie, kein Fremder, Außenstehender. Geht es also auch hier wieder um den Sohn Gottes?

This is another prophet, Sacharia. He, too, lived in the Jewish country many years before the birth of Jesus. He, too, writhes that somebody will come. He will be God's servant but also his branch. A branch in a family, however, is a relative, a child of this family, no stranger. So does this verse from the bible again refer to the Son of God?
