Heute zünden wir die dritte Kerze an, denn wir warten ja auf das Weihnachtsfest. Man nennt dies auch das Fest der Liebe. Gestern und vorgestern haben wir über Nächstenliebe nachgedacht. Dieser Jesus, dessen Geburtstag wir bald feiern werden, liebt Dich, ja genau Dich! Er lebt, und er liebt Dich! Hier ist eine Bibelstelle dazu:

 

Wer nicht liebt, kennt Gott nicht; denn Gott ist Liebe. Darin ist die Liebe Gottes zu uns geoffenbart worden, daß Gott seinen eingeborenen Sohn in die Welt gesandt hat, damit wir durch ihn leben möchten. Darin besteht die Liebe, nicht daß wir Gott geliebt haben, sondern daß Er uns geliebt und seinen Sohn gesandt hat als Sühnopfer für unsre Sünden. Geliebte, wenn Gott uns so geliebt hat, so sind auch wir schuldig, einander zu lieben. Niemand hat Gott je gesehen; wenn wir einander lieben, so bleibt Gott in uns, und seine Liebe ist in uns vollkommen geworden. (1. Johannes 4, 8 – 12)

 

Das Schlüsselwort zur Liebe und zum Wohlergehen und zum Leben ist Jesus Christus, genau dieses Kind in der Krippe.

Es gibt folgenden Spruch: "Die Liebe ist das einzige, das mehr wird, je mehr man davon verschenkt."

Alles, was Jesus in seinem Leben getan hat, hat er aus Liebe zu uns Menschen getan. Für ihn gab es kein Profitdenken. Er hat nichts getan, um persönlichen Nutzen daraus zu ziehen. Der Grund für all sein Handeln war und ist einzig seine große Liebe zu uns Menschen.

Möchtest auch Du diese Liebe haben? Jesus möchte sie Dir schenken. Du brauchst nur zuzugreifen. Morgen erfährst Du noch mehr über diese Liebe.

 

Today we are lightening the third candle because after all we are waiting for Christmas. We also call it the festival of love. Yesterday and the day before we had reflected upon loving our neighbour. This Jesus, whose birthday we are going to celebrate within short, loves you, yes He precisely loves you! He lives, and he loves you! Here is a passage from the Bible stating this fact:

 

He who does not love does not know God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. The love I speak of is not our love for God, but the love he showed to us in sending his Son as the remedy for the defilement of our sins. Beloved, if God thus loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us. (1. Johannes 4, 8 – 12)

The key word to love and to welfare and to life is Jesus Christ, precisely this child in the manger.

There is the following saying: "Love is the only thing that become more the more we give it away."

All that Jesus had done during his life, he had done because he loves us. He has never thought of any profit for himself. He has never done anything in order to gain advantage for himself. The reason for all his acting has always been his enormous love to us.

Do you, too, want to have this love? Jesus wants to give it to you. You simply have to take it. Tomorrow you will learn more about this love.
